Senior Jadyn Dunlap set two Wellsboro Soccer program records as the Lady Hornets rolled to a 7-0 victory over Williamson on Thursday during Senior Night.

Dunlap made 4 saves in goal for her ninth shutout of the season. The shutout gives her 24 for her career and her 4 saves set her at 567. Both are not only records for the girls' program, but for both Wellsboro Soccer programs. She also sits at 100 saves on the season.

"You can't ask for much more on Senior Night," head coach Michael Reese said. "Meg and Kaelyn both found the back of the net, Jadyn broke the school record for career saves and we got goals from several different players. I thought we moved the ball extremely well and did a good job creating opportunities. It was a great team effort and a special night for our seniors."

Sophomore Haylie Smith got things rolling for the Lady Hornets with three goals in the game's first 15 minutes to put Wellsboro in front early. Seniors Kaelyn Peterson and Megan Newruck, along with sophomore Rylee Coolidge added three more goals in the opening half to give Wellsboro a 6-0 lead at the intermission.

Junior Lauren Gehman scored the game's final goal with just over six and a half minutes left to play.

Coolidge, Newruck (2), junior Kate Bryant and freshman Ryleigh Sporer all assisted on goals.

Wellsboro out-shot Williamson 16-4 and had a slight 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.

The win improves the Lady Hornets to 11-3-1 (9-1-1 NTL). The team is back in action against Towanda on Saturday afternoon.
