Lady Hornets Fall To Wyalusing In Double Overtime

It took roughly 97 minutes to decide a winner between Wellsboro's Varsity Girls Soccer team and Wyalusing on Thursday, October 3.

The Lady Rams came out on top, 1-0, with 3:11 remaining in the second overtime period on a Chloe Bennett goal.

Wyalusing out shot Wellsboro 12-0. All of Wellsboro's 7 shots came from 20-30 yards out, but not on goal. Wyalusing also held a slim 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Sophomore Jadyn Dunlap made 10 saves.

Wyalusing also won the JV game, 2-0.

Wellsboro falls to 2-7-2 overall and 2-6-2 in the NTL. The team travels to Port Allegany on Monday.
