Boyce, Clymer lead Lady Hornets past Towanda

Seniors Jena Boyce and Kerrah Clymer combined for 7 goals as the Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team shutout Towanda on Monday, October 5.

Clymer scored 4 goals on the afternoon to bring her career total to 64. Boyce scored a hat trick to record her 42nd career goal. Clymer (2) and Boyce (1) also added assists on the night.

Seniors Cara Tennis and Madelyn Rudy and sophomore Jordyn Abernathy also added assists.

Junior Lilly Abadi earned her 4th consecutive shutout by making 2 saves on Towanda's only shot attempts of the afternoon.

The win improves the Lady Hornets' record to 6-0-1 before they travel to Athens on Thursday, October 8.
