Girls soccer falls to Mansfield, 1-0

The Wellsboro Varsity girls soccer team fell to Mansfield on Wednesday night, 1-0 in their final regular season game of the year.

Mansfield's Kelsey Harer scored 6:29 into the second half to break a 0-0 first half tie. The Lady Hornets, who scored 19 goals in their previous four game couldn't find the back of the next for the remainder of the contest to suffer the loss, despite out-shooting Mansfield 18-12.

Junior Meghan Bodine recorded 7 saves in the net for the Lady Hornets.

In the J.V. game, Wellsboro won 2-0 to finish their season.

The Lady Hornets finish the season with a record of 8-9-1 (7-8-1 NTL).
