Hornets fall to Wyalusing

The Wyalusing Rams defeated the Wellsboro Hornets, 2-1 in girls soccer action Wednesday. Wyalusing scored with 11:34 left in first half, but Wellsboro Wellsboro came back in second half with 10:02 left to tie it up on a Mikayla Palmer-Bacon goal. Wyalusing took a shot and our keeper lost control above her head and ball fell out of her hands to allow Wyalusing to run it in with 6:45 left in game. With the loss, Wellsboro falls to 3-2 in the NTL.

In JV action, the Hornets tied Wyalusing 2-2. Jena Reimann scored both goals for Wellsboro, while Ashley Johns and Alexandria Mansfield added one assist each.
