Hornets fall to Liberty, 4-1

The Liberty Mounties defeated Wellsboro, 4-1 in boys soccer action Thursday. The Hornets dominated the first 15 minutes of the game, but were unable to get a shot on goal. The Hornets made some defensive mistakes and Liberty scored 3 goals within 15 minutes before the end of the first half. Wellsboro had to chase the game in the second half and did not play calm soccer. With the loss, Wellsboro falls to 2-1.

In JV action, Wellsboro tied Liberty, 1-1. Cody DeHass scored the goal for Wellsboro. The Hornets will be in action this Saturday as they host the Troy Trojans.
