Girls soccer downs Northeast Bradford

The girls soccer team downed Northeast Bradford 2-0 to improve to 4-4 on the year. The Hornets picked up their third shutout of the year with two saves from Senior Goalie Sherri Hovis and two goals from Senior Forward Victoria Pearson. Pearson's first goal of the night came at the 36:06 mark off a pass from Jillian Hypnarowski. Her second goal came at 49:26. Jennifer Evans passed to Hypnarowski who then fed Pearson for the score.
There was no JV game due to the muddy condition of the field. The team returns to action on Monday, September 26 as they travel to Sayre to take on the Redskins. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
